Understanding and Identifying a Dual Diagnosis

Down Syndrome & Autism, published by NDSS, draws on several national resources to assist parents and caregivers in identifying behaviors associated with ASD and determining whether or not they should seek out an evaluation. Further information and research has been published by the Kennedy Krieger Institute.

If you believe your child should be assessed, many providers listed in our Multidisciplinary Providers and Psychology & Social Work resource directories offer evaluations for ASD.
