The Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan strives to create communities that embrace Down syndrome, empower individuals, and promote opportunities for meaningful lives.
This year, we have several exciting year-end giving opportunities…and perks–like the new 2022 DSAWM calendar! Whether you decide to make a one-time contribution, become a monthly donor, sponsor a program, or–new this year!–round up your change, every dollar you give empowers people with Down syndrome and supports the communities where they live, work, and play.
Join us for the 2021 Member Holiday Party on December 5th at the Grand Rapids Public Museum! Members will have the opportunity to explore the museum, view a holiday-themed planetarium show, and enjoy delicious sweets (with a gluten-free option) all free of charge. PLUS, Santa Claus will fly down from the North Pole to take photos and hear all of your holiday wishes.
Our 2021 Fall/Winter programming schedule is here! We encourage you to take a look through our offerings and register for the programs of interest to your family. Most programs are resuming in-person, but virtual participation options will continue to be offered.
Connecting Communities is an $850,000 capital campaign of the Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan Foundation that will continue to support individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and communities across 12 West Michigan counties.
