Financial Assistance Programs
DSAWM’s Member Financial Assistance Fund is designed to provide financial support to families raising individuals with Down syndrome who need help with certain Down syndrome-related expenses. Funding in the form of reimbursement is available with In-Area Family Membership. Please see each individual form for application instructions and specific eligibility requirements. The Member Financial Assistance Fund is designated to assist eligible members with expenses related to medical and therapeutic services, equipment or devices, and therapeutic and educational programs.
The Member Adoption Assistance Fund is designated to assist eligible members with expenses related to the domestic or international adoption of a child with Down syndrome.
The DSAWM Hospital Meal Voucher Program is designated to help offset meal expenses for DSAWM member families whose child with Down syndrome is, or will be, experiencing an overnight stay in the hospital. Meal vouchers are distributed as prepaid hospital gift cards. Contact info@dsawm.org to request a voucher.
