Scholarships & Financial Assistance
DSAWM provides financial assistance to members through our Financial Assistance Scholarship, Adoption Scholarship, and Hospital Assistance programs. The Financial Assistance Scholarship assists eligible members with expenses related to medical and therapeutic services, equipment or devices, and therapeutic and educational programs. Scholarships are awarded 3 times per year.
The Adoption Scholarship assists eligible members with expenses related to the domestic or international adoption of a child with Down syndrome. Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis.
The Hospital Assistance program offsets meal and transportation expenses for DSAWM member families whose loved one with Down syndrome is experiencing an overnight stay in the hospital. Assistance is provided on a rolling basis. Contact info@dsawm.org if your loved one is experiencing a hospital stay and in need of support.
