Mom’s Night Out

Mom’s Night Out is a monthly program for mothers raising children with Down syndrome. Each month, mom’s have the opportunity to enjoy different activities and come together to connect, share stories, and support each other. This month’s activity is a Sound Bath in Meeting Room 1 of the Special Olympics Michigan Unified Sports & Inclusion Center! A Sound Bath is a meditative experience where those in attendance are “bathed” in sound waves. These waves are produced by various sources, including healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles, tuning forks, and even the human voice itself. Cost is $30-$35 depending on the size of the group.
