DSAWM is excited to team up with the Rise program and WMU to bring Cooking Capers back to Kalamazoo! Centerpoint Church is generously allowing us to use their kitchen. Cooking Capers is an engaging program led by WMU nutrition students, designed to teach kitchen independence to participants aged 12 and up (participants aged 12-15 must have a guardian present). We learn kitchen safety, how to follow recipes, and much more! Our first two sessions are on March 28th and April 4th, with more dates coming soon, so keep an eye out for updates. Registration is required to help us accommodate food allergies and ensure we purchase the right amount of groceries.
