Book
distribution - Each year
in conjunction with Down Syndrome Awareness Month (October)
the
association purchases books for distribution to local schools,
universities, doctors offices,
hospitals and other agencies. The purpose is to generate
community awareness of Down syndrome as well as provide resources to
service providers to the Down syndrome community.
