Camp Manitou-Lin

Thanksgiving Break Special Needs Day Camp, Ages 8-14

Wednesday, November 25, 8:30AM-4:30PM

 

Come to camp for a great fall day!  Campers will have the opportunity to shoot a bow and arrow, climb the rock wall, take a nature hike and more!

 

The cost for this day camp is $27 per day for YMCA members and $32 per day for non-members. Bussing is available for $8 per day at various sites around Grand Rapids.

Special Needs Kids Getaway, Ages 8-18

Saturday, December 12 (10AM) - Sunday, December 13 (10:20AM)

 

Spend a few days participating in fun activities like sledding, games, indoor climbing, lanyards, cooking, baking and snow sculptures.  This overnight camp will give parents a chance to get ready for the holidays!

 

The cost for this weekend is $55 for YMCA members and $65 for non-YMCA members.  Bussing to and from various sites around Grand Rapids is included in the cost.  This camp is co-ed.  Campers must be independent in the bathroom.

 

Winter Break Special Needs Day Camp, Ages 8-18

December 21-23 and 28-30, 8:30AM-4:30PM

 

Sign up for one day or all six!  The fun includes all-camp activities, arts & crafts and traditional camp activities with winter twists.  Lunch is provided.

 

The cost for this day camp is $27 per day for YMCA members and $32 per day for non-members. Bussing is available for $8 per day at various sites around Grand Rapids.

 

Special Needs Young Adult Overnight Camp, Ages 19-26

Friday, December 18 (7PM) - Sunday, December 20 (1PM)

 

YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin offers adventure-packed weekends for young adults with special needs.  Activities may include archery, arts & crafts, teambuilding, hiking, petting farm, camp fires and nature center.

 

The cost for the weekend is $90 for YMCA members and $100 for non-YMCA members.  This camp is co-ed.  Campers must be independent in the bathroom.

Special Needs New Year's Eve Sleepover, Ages 8-18

Thursday, December 31 (5PM) - Friday, January 1 (11AM)

 

Start 2010 with your friends at YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin!  Campers will enjoy a pizza dinner, games, indoor climbing, karaoke, New Year's Dance & Countdown and a morning brunch.

 

Campers will be picked up and dropped off by bus at various sites around Grand Rapids.  The cost of this special activity is $55 for YMCA members and $65 for non-YMCA members.  This camp is co-ed.  Campers must be independent in the bathroom.
