Independent Life Skills ***NEW***
The Independent Life Skills
program is designed to provide individuals with Down syndrome
skills necessary to increase independence in their daily lives.

Independent Life Skills
The program will teach skills such as
kitchen safety, hygiene, cleaning and cooking skills and simple money
management. Participants will actively cook in the kitchen, prepare food
and clean up after themselves.
Who can Attend?
When and Where?

Weekly 2-hour classes comprised of
small groups will be held.

Sessions will begin the middle of July
and will end in mid-August. There will be 5 or 6 weekly sessions.

The program will be held at Easter

What About Family Vacations?

Unfortunately, therapists are NOT able
to schedule around individual vacation times. We ask that families
commit to all of the 6-week sessions.

No discounts will be given for missed
sessions.
What is the Cancellation Policy?
-
If cancellation occurs before May 15,
you will be refunded 100% of the fees paid.

NO REFUNDS will be given after May 15.

Classes fill up on a first-come,
first-serve basis.
Please do NOT wait for
your child’s 2008-09 IEP/IFSP or teacher’s report to mail in your forms.
Mail in your child’s most recent (2007-08) evaluation. DO NOT DELAY.
