Become a DSAWM Member

Thank you for your interest in DSAWM membership!  Whether you are joining for the first time or simply renewing for another year, we are excited to serve you to the best of our ability.

Membership Fee Structure

Voting Member Level - $25.00

Voting Members are persons with Down syndrome and their households, immediate family members and caregivers who reside in our 12-county service area.  Voting Members receive access to all DSAWM programs and services, including Member Financial Assistance Funds (if all requirements are met), social gatherings and a subscription to the DSA Press.

Professional & Outside-Service Area Member Level - $20.00

Professional & Outside-Service Area Members are persons with Down syndrome and their households, immediate family members and caregivers who reside outside our 12-county service area, and all medical, educational and other professionals.  Members at this level receive a subscription to the DSA Press and are welcome to attend DSAWM conferences/workshops and special events.

Supporter Member Level - Donation of Individual's Choice

Supporter Members are friends and extended family members of persons with Down syndrome and other interested community members.  A contribution of any amount qualifies a person for membership at the Supporter level.  Supporter Members receive a subscription to the DSA Press and are welcome to attend select DSAWM events.

The DSAWM is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization.  Membership dues and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.

• DSAWM Membership Renewal Packets are mailed out to all DSAWM members each January.

• Expectant parents and households/immediate family members of babies with Down syndrome who are one year or younger receive one year of free membership.

• Any individual or family who is unable to afford membership dues may contact the DSAWM at 616-956-3488 or audrey@dsawm.org to have the membership fee waived.
