Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan Foundation
The Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan Foundation (DSAWMF) was established to provide a permanent source of principal, in order that funds would be available in the future for individuals with Down syndrome and their families in West Michigan. The Foundation is a separate not-for-profit organization, funded by cash, securities and other assets, and helps to fund the vital programs, supports and services provided by the Association.
In-kind contributions of goods and services are welcomed by the Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan. These contributions are a significant means of supporting the DSAWM and freeing a larger percentage of our funds to be spent directly on the needs of our membership. Examples of in-kind contributions are design or printing services, office supplies and equipment, advertising space, food and beverages, books, etc.
In-kind contributions to the DSAWM are tax-deductible under state and federal laws. You will receive a receipt acknowledging your contribution of goods or services, with a value as determined by the DSAWM.
